It is another great day for us in the office the girls for the fast time being witness a kill on there owen the mama look like she was not intrested on what is happening.

At this time they killed a young wildebeest haa, very anbesias girls but they did.

As you can see the girls which one time are led by shakira away from the wildebeest are now asking there mama where the ngus.

Just this morning we sow this girls run into the great savanna on the burungat pains and we thought just looking for something els to eat.

To our all surprise shakira did not follow or show any interest but all the three girls charge and brought down a young wildebeest shakira walk in very slowly until she arrive to the sin as nothing had happen.

Although it was very gory to watch but the bottom line is they can hunt on there own now well done mama Shakira for upbringing this great hunters to our planet well done I say again.

Every time I see something like this happened My heat melt and goes on to remember moyo the mother of Miujisa she would have been doing the same to our little star but its in our hands.

I m glad to tell every one that this girls have made it, only a matter of time they will be on there own for ever.

The ridge pride

Once again the Ridge pride had paform well this morning they made the best they need for all thirteen of them a Zebra.

As I was laying in bed I got woken up by a nomardic male lion who has been following the pride for almost month but as it such on there was no luck.

The pride went towards the ridge and hide there for most of the night and then a surprise a small group of zebras came to there view.

One of the guides said there here but look like hunting come slow.

Fred and John are the main guides in the two lucky groups in camp and the show started, We thought fist they will go for the small one in the group but they aim high and got the largest of all the main stallion.

I feel good for them since its a large pride and had been chase around by this young nomadic male.

Where is he from we don't know I will only think from TZ.

Goodmorning all,

After a short brake at home now back to the maasai mara.

One day after I started asking where is Kali, and Olive they guides said not far from camp just around the conner.

While I thought when to go out and look for one of them just to fill better after such bad news of Mama ya lorian.

I sow One lion near the camp, which lions are those no one can tell, I jump into a landcuicer with Charlie, Sam, and there ayah Pricila.

This is the Ridge pride great news 8 of them, there look nervers I dont know what is happening with them though must be some changer.

Last evening Kereto so a young Male with two of the females of this pride it could be a big change for them.

Where about is Snuggle tooth we don't know he is gone we have not seen him for a few months, the last time was seen near our camp near Rhino ridge but after that we don't know what had happen.

I went to the transmara for a day and ask if any one have seen him and a ranger said he left to Lamai Wage serengeti in May.

He was chase a few times by the young upcoming boys and I think he had enough so he left.

This pride is always close to our camp I had follow for years since this Large females are Cubs and  all of this subadult you see are born not far from our camp.

Dear all 

Yesterday was a very sad day in the office, the news come as always unexpected a dead leopard.

'' Where is it" Near your camp oo no, Run into my Land cruiser hurry up guides I had some bad news of may one of leopards had been killed by lions I hear.

We run before lunch calling other guides we who care about our wildlife and before we new we had a lot of cars tourist and other people.

Oo no not again we all sat on the plain some touching some taking photos while others were shock why why you.

I call the Senior Warden to let him know about the sad news he call me back and thank us for our concern and he instructed the rangers to take the skin off for KWS just in case one man my take advantage and sale.

We are lucky to had found before the rangers and photo for the future Id.

I know we all love this magnificent animals however this do happen due to small territories and food competition that come with the migration.

We then such for Kali and Olive in the evening to see any sign of score or wounds but I had not seen them at all.

I m sure well be able to tell you who would have kill Mama Lorian.

Surely this office can brake you heart or can lift up your spirit with activities, some time make you lough.

Breaking news Dead leopard.

Paul and I very sad looking at mama lorian.

I was in the office this morning when I recieve a call from Paul Kirui our senior guide in the maasai mara national reserve.

Bwana Jackson I had there is a small male leopard found dead near your camp'' I jump up at once head there look every where frastrated as any thing calling him and the park Warden finaly we had found it.

Few its not a boy to begining with and its not young aither so Its not Kali thank God, who is she Not Olive too, neither binti mmmmm.

Paul arrive in the sin about 20 mins after look around check and finally he said its Lorian's Mother.

We new her very well very shy girl always in a run if she see any cars more than one.

Ooooo rest in peace mama we all said very sad.

She was kill by another leopard we guess its Binti and Olive together work to bring her down but we are not sure.

The guides from deferents camps all arrive at the sin every one very sad indeed but well its just one of many.

I must say she was a powerful girl and she gave us lorian near Olkeju Rongai Rest in peace.

Notch family

Dear my Rafikis,

I coulnt wait to go and meet up with little cubs that are born in Notch new family.

It was a very quick one in the after noon when we look and look but no luck so far they are so little the Lioness is still shy to bring them in the open.

However I meet up with not near the main crossing on musiara side.

Notch was full he hadly walk even though he got a one of the lioness with him and I think he might be on last days of honeymoon.

The boys were near by everyone of them flat on there backs especialy when the wildebeest are every were its meal time, really easy one.

I had been looking for Kali to update every one for the last few days he got lost but he was again back to my home are I meet him with Paul Kirui together  with Thou. 

I was so happy to see him again and he is hug, the reason he is in and out is because of his father Big Boy now he can see a young leopard who could take over his kingdom, that is why Kali is getting careful.

Binti on the other had had been harass by the cars in the last few month we have been away to an extent she is feed up any time you come a cross her she charge the cars.

I have been seeing her near our camp every other day, since Olive is in and out of the this teritory Binti had a lot of visitors.

Lorian is back too we meet her last few days full of her self and lot of food the gnus are every where in Rongai and Pose plains which is her territory.

I m yet to update you all on what Red and her Family doing but need to break up for family tomorrow when I come back to the office my mission will be red and white eye, and little notches.

The Girls forecast on a prey

Dear all,

Its had to choose between the actions, a lot to see and witness wooo.

I went for and evening drive to meet up with Shakira and I so so much action, first was big boy on a kill, then Olive sleeping resting after a meal, and finally Shakira and her three girls watch by 7 lions.

What an evening its time to be in the mara, so much to see.

When we meet the girls and there mama Shakira it was low light, Shakira was hunting very late and thank God she dint get any thing lions were not far off from her.

I then wanted to take good pictures of the Girls faces but not this time may be today.

Its now good time to mark them and full face ID i can now tell them apart.

The braking news is coming soon the little Notchers they are now here at last haaaaa.

Honey Boys

Dear all,

I had found out where the boys have been doing and I couldnt resist to update you.

Honey boys are doing fantastic let me tell you and for some of you who are coming to the mara look forward for action from this powerful young boys.

We have seen them take some of the largest animals cheetah would not no-marly do but they can in there coalition of three strong boys.

Just yesterday they killed a young Zebra below the rhino ridge Topi plains.

When you meet this boys after a few month of separation a smile comes into your face and you say Jambo vijana just hope they can here my words.

I always look at this cheetahs with a lot of respect and remember how powerful they had became.

In the area we don't have any large cheetahs male who can challenge them so go boys go spread your gin-pool beyond your territories.

I have other good news too the Notch boys wow they have grown so large and powerful with the migration just started I cant tell you what the will be doing haaaaa.

Cant wait to see there power take over the whole mara.
