Cheza

Just had a small break at home I drove through olare orok conservancy to check on our small house call Topi.
What a good surprise to meet up with old friends Cheza and Sala, I always new where they were after closing Kidogo.
When I meet meet up with the other officer in my office I have asked them how is cheza and Sala.

Sala
The info is always positive, I have not meet them for some time about three years now and his brothers are the males at olkimbo pride.
If you remember them hiding on the rocks when they are charge by buffalos now look a big they are a lovely main.
The mara is full of friends every conner may be soon I will see Chui after a year who knows.

Great to see them again- how they've grown! I'll always remember Sala's 'roar' as a cub on Big Cat week. Have they got cubs?

Now I see. The Olkiombo Pride males we saw in September are other ones, well...We always liked to think that those 2 were Cheza and Sala....Good to know they are fine! The camp must be quite empty now. All that luxury just for you Jackson...Tutaonana.

Do cheza and Sala control a a pride? and is it just the two of them, or have they joined forces with another male? Lastly, do these two cats ever run into Notch and his boys?

It's great to see those 2 after all this time who would have thought they would grow into such big handsome fellows when we were watching them being chased by the buffalo

Jambo Jackson,
It is hard to believe those magnificent males are little Cheza & Sala.
You must feel kind of like a proud Papa.

I just discovered "Big Cat Diary" as Animal Planet has begun to loop the series. I've never even heard of it until recently.

When President Obama gets the world back on its feet, i plan on bringing my family to visit.

I have two reasons to visit: 1) Obama birthplace and 2) the big cats.

See you very soon...

Obama sucks! Terrible reason to want to visit the masai mara. Rather, it should be because of your love for the big cats. Get it right.

The talek and the mara are swelling, Arriving from home and see the number of wildlife is great.
I just meet up with Ridge pride but all in small groups.
The older females had just had cubs while the teenagers are looking for there space.

Dear Anonymous,
I will be here to show you the mara when you come to my office.
Big cat diary have been going for a long time from help tail leopard at the gorge to Bella on the talek river.
The mash pride have always been in the diary lately the ridge pride.
After some time when changers happen in the conservation area that is when BBC.

What we hope is this to continue for future generations in the mara prides as well as our leopards, cheetahs.
The good news is we are now in to inform you and update whenever we can Paul Kirui is one of them I trust in this side of the mara to update us too.
We hope to get the rangers on this side of the mara up to speed to help as well and hope they don't get transfer away from the mara.
