Dear Friends,

After some time in the eastern Mara we now have a car Donated by KWT to naboisho Conservancy, to monitor the Cheetahs.
I went to Naboisho for just 2 nights then I meet up with 7 cheetahs in one drive, Shingo Cubs are all there too 6 of them together there mother is now gone away from the Subs,
I meet up with the 4 Subs remain after there mother and sister was Kill by lions.

This new Mother had arrive to the some area Nelson Save her with one of our guides Wilson Mpoya from a lion attack however they come here because there is less pressure on Cars.

We are still moving on to get the rest of the Marutis soon.

Kind regards,

Jackson Looseyia.

I love seeing the relaxed nature of the cheetahs around jeeps, the cheetahs are so nonchalant about them it really brings a smile to my face. Sorry to hear about the loss of a mother and daughter, but, that's life in the wilds. Thanks for sharing!!

We have just been to the Mara and Naboisho and had the pleasure of seeing the six young cheetahs early one morning. It is fabulous to be able to continue to follow them on this blog now that we are back in the UK - thank you for this, Jackson!

I felt sad knowing about the loss of a mother and sister which were killed by lions... But that is usual in wild life... Hope the remaining boys will do on well...

Are these 6 cubs a little over one year old? I saw 6 in the Mara when I was there last Sept, one year ago. So so wonderful that all survived... very rare to see this. Plus cheetahs are my favorite animal in all the world!

Beautiful pictures. And it's always nice to read about cheetahs, definitely my favourite animal.

I Just watched the African Cat's movie narrated by Samuel L Jackson.

I am really sure that the cheetah is shakira. Or at lest they copied the scene from Big Cat Diary and just changed the name,. Has anyone seen that movie?

Jackson, I wasn't sure from your blog if Shingo and her 6 cubs are still OK. On June 30, 2011 4 of her cubs jumped onto the hood of my Land Rover- just me and the guide were inside. The roof was rolled back so 2 of them climbed onto the roof and stared down at me for 20-25 minutes. I was so frightened. Thanks to my guide, Stanley Kalithii from Origins I didn't freak out. The animals were so beautiful but they terrified me being only a couple of feet from my my head. Please let me know. My email is joannk31@aol.com. Thanks.
