Olkiombo pride

Dear Friends of Conservation,

I am now work through all the members of our prides as I get to see them, this morning we found the Olkiombo females 4 of them with 7 cubs all hungry but hope is on the way.

This pride had move very close to Sala and Cheza territory hope the 3 brothers can keep them away from them.
This lions are hungry need some food but the its not too far away as the loita Migration is just around the conner,
Since they have come this far during the rain season I can see the cubs making it the real buffer is coming soon.

I had of the Snap Cracow and Pop are some where on the rhino ridge but the two rivers were flooded  no way today may be tomorrow if does not rain.

After the rains the grass is long had to see any thing and most of the grazers let to the conservation area.

More to come soon.

Salaams

Good to hear about the Olkiombo pride, and that they are all well even though they are thin, and that soon food will be on the way.

Asante sana

From Lynn - I've been worried about the Olkiombo Pride so glad that food is just around the corner. Hopefully they will fit, fat, healthy lions soon :o)

So many mouths to feed, good that food is on its way for them. Lovely to hear the names Cheza and Sala, how are those wonderful boys? I hope they are not going to be a threat to the Olkiombo pride though.
Loving the updates Jackson

Ahhh, yes, it is wonderful hearing familiar names....Cheza and Sala. How I remember those adorable, playful cubs on BCD w/Simon. As I recall, they are now BIG beautiful lions, someone had posted pictures of them either here or on Simon's site. Thank you, Jackson, as always for your updates.

Have a pleasant day/evening!

Thanks for the update on the Olkiombo pride. I hope Sala and Cheza are doing well!!! Is Cheza still getting Sala into trouble? LOL :)

I'm sure I read somewhere that Cheza and Sala had taken over the Olkiombo pride. Was that not the case at all or were they fought off? Do they have their own pride now or are they loners? I would so love to hear more about them, they were such characters!
