Hi Jackson, thank you so much for keeping us up-to-date about our beloved big cats, especially the Marsh pride members. Have you seen Romeo and Bibi? Also White Eye?

Dear Judy,

Lions sleep most the time remember they eat a lot of meat that means they need to spend some time digesting,

Kind Regards,

Jackson.

Hi Jackson! So sorry to hear about White Eye. I been a late comer to Big Cat Diary about 5 years ago, feel in love with them all, especially Notch, Toto(poor guy) Half Tail and so on. I would like to know what your take is on Notch and what he is doing. To me, it seems like he's changing the way Lions deal with their sons when they get older. He's been keeping them and taking over a major part of the mara. Is this unusual? Are we witnessing something new in nature with notch wanting to help preserve his race? My wife and I are just amazed. We hope that there will be some knew video/show in the future that picks up where we left off. You and Big Cat Diary has become a major part of our family. Thank you so much for your hard work! Wishing you the best! -ZoWillie-

Fantastic photos, Jackson, thank you. It saddens me also to hear that White Eye is no longer with us, or Honey, Toto, Half-Tail, Bella. Don't know what I'll do when Notch crosses the Rainbow Bridge! Any words on Sala, Solo, Cheza, Chui (Bella's son)...glad to hear Bibi is still with us. I envy your 'office' atmosphere!

Solo was killed by other male lions some time ago. I read it on Big Cat Diary website. I am sorry he is gone. He overcame much adversity.

What happened to Bella?
